Privacy policy

Association Lobby (associationlobby.com and its association pages) is run by Claw Media LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to office@associationlobby.com.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name and email address when you sign in with Google or by email.
- Resident list. Your association’s board or manager may add your unit number, name and email so you can sign in as a resident. We use it only to confirm who can vote, comment and use resident features.
- What you post. Votes, comments, messages, maintenance requests, marketplace items, home listings and photos you upload.
- Technical details. Sign-in cookies that keep you signed in, and basic logs such as IP address and browser type that keep the service secure and working.
Information from Google sign-in
If you choose Sign in with Google, we ask Google only for your name, email address and profile picture (the “openid”, “email” and “profile” permissions). We use this information only to create your account, sign you in, and match you to your association’s resident list. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data.
We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI models. We share it only with the service providers listed below that run sign-in and hosting for us. Association Lobby’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- To run your association’s site and the features your board has turned on.
- To confirm residents before they vote, comment or post.
- To send messages you ask for, such as replies or maintenance updates.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
What is public
Email addresses are never shown publicly. Resident lists are never shown publicly. Items you choose to publish, such as a marketplace item or a home listing, are visible as described on the page where you post them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use these providers to run the service:
- Supabase, for the database, file storage and sign-in.
- Vercel, for website hosting.
- Cloudflare, for the bot check on sign-in forms.
- xAI and OpenAI, only when a board member creates design concepts. These requests contain the photos and instructions the board provides, not resident account information.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account and association information while the association uses Association Lobby. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details within 30 days, except where we must keep records by law.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing office@associationlobby.com.
- Remove Association Lobby’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Ask your board to update or remove your entry on the resident list.
Children
Association Lobby is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
